Wholesale Candy Pricing: MOQs, Volume Tiers, and How to Get a Quote
Understanding wholesale candy pricing before your first enquiry saves time for both sides. This page covers how Candora Trading's pricing works — volume tiers, minimum order quantities, what affects price, and how to get an accurate quote for your specific requirements. All pricing is factory-direct: no distributor markup, no trading company margin. You buy from the source.

How Candora Trading Wholesale Pricing Works
Candora Trading sources candy directly from European factories and supplies wholesale buyers without additional distribution layers. This means your price reflects factory cost plus Candora's direct margin — significantly below what you would pay through a distributor or trading company.
Price is determined by four factors: 1. Volume: The single biggest price driver. More kilograms per order = lower price per kilogram 2. Format: Bulk loose candy is priced differently from retail-ready pre-packaged bags or private label programmes 3. SKU count: Orders concentrated into fewer SKUs are more efficient to produce and ship — reflected in pricing 4. Regularity: Recurring monthly orders command better pricing than one-off purchases
Currency: Candora Trading quotes in EUR (European Euro). USD, GBP, NOK, and SEK pricing is provided on request at current exchange rates.
Volume Pricing Tiers
Candora Trading's pricing scales with order volume. These are indicative ranges — exact pricing depends on specific candy format, packaging requirements, and order regularity. All prices are ex-works Europe.
Bulk loose candy (pick & mix, bulk bags):
| Volume per order | Indicative price range | |---|---| | 100–300 kg | €7–10 / kg | | 300–750 kg | €5.50–7.50 / kg | | 750 kg – 2 tonnes | €4.50–6 / kg | | 2–10 tonnes | €3.80–5.50 / kg | | Container (15+ tonnes) | €3–5 / kg |
Pre-packaged retail bags (80g–200g): Retail-ready bags carry a packaging premium of €0.50–1.50/kg over bulk pricing, reflecting packaging materials, filling, labelling, and barcode application. Private label bags with custom printing carry an additional setup cost and MOQ.
Note on US buyers: Add ocean freight (~€0.80–1.20/kg to US East Coast), US import duty (typically 5–12% depending on HS code), and customs brokerage (~€0.10/kg) for total landed cost calculation.

Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs)
Standard wholesale (bulk and standard packaging): - Minimum: 100 kg per order across any combination of SKUs - Recommended minimum for ocean freight viability (US/Australia buyers): 500 kg - No minimum per SKU for mixed orders — you can combine multiple candy formats to reach the order minimum
Retail-ready pre-packaged bags: - Minimum: 500 kg per SKU (for existing Candora-branded packaging) - Private label bags: 1,000 units per bag design minimum
Private label (custom branded): - Bulk private label: 500 kg per SKU - Pre-packaged private label bags: 1,000–2,000 units per design depending on bag size - Custom formats with new recipe development: discuss requirements with our team

What to Include in Your Quote Request
To receive an accurate quote quickly, include the following in your enquiry:
1. Candy formats you're interested in Be as specific as you can — "Swedish jelly candy" or "sour belts" is more useful than "European candy". If you've seen specific products you want to discuss, mention them.
2. Estimated volume Your first order estimate and expected monthly or annual volume. Even a rough estimate ("around 500kg to start") enables accurate pricing.
3. Packaging format Bulk loose for repacking, standard retail bags, or private label. If private label, provide your target bag size.
4. Target market Where you're selling — USA, UK, EU, Australia, etc. Affects labelling requirements, freight routing, and compliance documentation.
5. Timeline When you need stock by. This determines whether standard production lead times (4–6 weeks) work or whether a faster turnaround is needed.
